Community Engagement

We play every chance we get and hope that our music makes the event a memorable and successful experience for all.  From countless American Cancer Society walk-a-thons, to gigs at the local Fraternal Order of Police, the Littlest Hero’s Foundation, “Stand Down” for veterans at the Manatee County Fairgrounds, United Way Chili Cook-offs, APACK motorcycle rides, and many more the list is endless. The Blues Pig Band has answered the call, and will do so again many times before we are done.  Blues Pig was never about making money in the music business.  It started out as a hobby, and it made us feel good to find that people were enjoying what we were playing—vintage American Blues.  People are kind and most “get it”. We have been honored to play for many various worthy causes.  It would be a shame and a sin not to do so.  These Blues we can’t keep—we give it away!
